"To approach this minimalist mindset from the direction of photography, I set my focus with the students on the legendary 'Power of the white shirt' stories from American, as well as Italian Vogue by Peter Lindbergh. The semester assignment is thus to create an iconic fashion photo using a simple white shirt."
That's the task that photographer Prof. Anna Rosa Krau of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Science assigned to the students of the class "Fashion Photography: Foundations & Sustainable Photography" as their semester project.
To do so, Anna Rosa reached out to Merz b. Schwanen and we provided each student with a white piece to support this project.

Vernissage in our Berlin Flagship Store
To celebrate the student's great work, we held a Vernissage in our Flagship Store in the heart of Berlin. Capturing and underlining the mood and the topic even more, we've decorated our store in all white, hanging just the pieces the student got to use for their work.
Enjoying drinks, snacks, good people, and an overall good mood, everyone had a blast, celebrating the incredible photos that are an homage to the late Peter Lindbergh, the legendary photographer.
