For Spring/Summer 2026, we’re pleased to introduce our collaboration with Original Fibres, a London-based brand celebrated for its expertise in natural fibers. The brand draws inspiration from British workwear, echoing Merz b. Schwanen’s own roots in functional, timeless design.
Together we're launching a relaxed-fit cotton/linen T-shirt, an expansion on our iconic staples, and a reimagined version of Original Fibres’ signature linen Railway Jacket.
Both pieces were developed in close partnership with Original Fibres and reflect a shared dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
The Linen-Cotton T-shirt
This T-shirt was made in collaboration with Original Fibres using a 50/50 linen-cotton blend, giving the softness and structure of organic cotton with the texture and breathability of linen.
The relaxed fit keeps you comfortable while the linen blend makes it less bulky if layering under our jackets. In turn, the final product makes for a versatile piece to add to your wardrobe.
The Linen Worker's Jacket
Our collaboration with Original Fibres brings together the brand's deep appreciation for natural fabrics with our approach to German workwear staples. With that, we’re introducing our take on their classic Railway Jacket.
The cropped fit keeps proportions modern and easy to wear, making it a versatile piece that transitions smoothly from warmer to cooler months as the organic linen fabric softens and develops character with repeated wear.
