Blue Print Amsterdam is an Amsterdam-based atelier founded by Celia Geraedts, dedicated to the art of indigo and traditional dyeing techniques. With a passion for craftsmanship and cultural heritage, the studio brings time-honored methods into a contemporary context — placing artisanal processes in a new light.
For several seasons, Merz b. Schwanen and Blue Print Amsterdam have joined forces to transform our carefully crafted textiles into one-of-a-kind, hand-dyed indigo pieces. Each garment is individually treated, resulting in unique shades and depth of color that celebrate the beauty of natural dye and human touch.
Expanding its capacity and impact, Blue Print Amsterdam launched The Boro Atelier in collaboration with a social partner. Under Celia’s supervision, this initiative not only enables a higher quantity of hand-dyed pieces, but also supports meaningful social engagement. Team members — including refugees — are guided toward new opportunities, such as learning the Dutch language with a certified teacher, helping shape a brighter future alongside their craft.
This collaboration unites textile heritage, artisanal skill, and social responsibility — proving that true craftsmanship can leave a lasting mark in more ways than one.
