A True Classic:
Our 215 T-shirt
The piece you can always wear? The good (white) T-shirt! It's been a go-to staple for decades now, and since being featured most recently in FX's hit series 'The Bear', the classic white T-shirt is as relevant as ever. Worn on its own with cool denim or layered under your jacket: this timeless piece is something to look and feel good in every day – particularly our 215 loopwheeled T-shirt.
When it comes to 'The Bear', actor Jeremy Allen White as the main character, chef Carmy, casually pulls off cool looks wearing our loopwheeled T-shirt. Of course, we are honored, proud, and genuinely grateful that it was chosen for the show.
But what makes this T-shirt stand out? Keep scrolling to find out more about the uniquely loopwheeled fabric and the thoughtful details that make it a true classic!
Loopwheeled in Germany
The 2-thread all-organic cotton fabric for this T-shirt (and many more styles) is made on our original loopwheelers in Germany. With this authentic manufacturing process, we're the only manufacturer in Europe still using these machines, the oldest being from the 1890s.
Small irregularities within the fabric underline this authentic way of manufacturing. The one-of-a-kind material is topped off with thoughtful yet cool details such as the bordered crew neckline.
All About the Details
"The detail is not a detail; it makes the product." This quote by Charles Eames applies to all our pieces and, therefore, also to the 215 T-shirt.
By paying great attention to detail, every piece assures exceptional comfort thanks to triangular inserts under the arms and a classic fit. The unique seams on the sleeves and the hem are distinctive details that round it up perfectly.
Do you prefer a more lightweight option?
While the 2-thread fabric clocks in with 8,6oz, maybe you prefer a more lightweight version – namely the 1950s T-shirt.
The organic cotton fabric is also made on our original loopwheelers, yet it is airier with 5,5oz of material weight.
Besides the classic fit, the crew neck, and triangular inserts, both the 215 and the 1950s have another thing in common: They are your companions in many good moments.
